Bridgeville has been conducting National Rifle Association registered High Power Rifle matches for over 50 years. The Club has the only active 600 yard and 1000 yard rifle range in Delaware. The 600 yard range includes firing lines at 200, 300, 500, and 600 yards, with the 1000 yard range including firing lines at 800, 900, and 1000 yards. Over the years there have been numerous records established at Bridgeville. At last count, 26 National Records were shot by Bridgeville Rifle and Pistol Club members. Several still stand. Perhaps most notable is the 500 – 30x score shot by the club’s own Jon Howell.
All High Power matches are conducted using the HEXTA Electronic Target system. Bridgeville is one of only three ranges in the United States that use the HEXTA Electronic Target system. It is by far the most accurate and most reliable electronic scoring system in use today.
